If you’re interested in improving your landscape photography this year but not sure where to begin, here are 4 things we suggest you keep in mind next time you head outdoors to snap some new shots:
  1. Try Using RAW- By doing this, you’re more likely to capture the compelling contrast of colors in shots like sunsets. Plus, you can adjust your white balance more freely in this mode without getting grainy images or losing original quality. If you aren’t familiar with the RAW format, just make sure your camera is set to RAW+JPEG before you get started.
  2. Practice Post-Processing- Even if you’re only making very minor adjustments, it’s important for you to get comfortable using some post-production editing programs. 3. Use a Tripod- It’s hard to capture the perfect shot if you can’t keep a steady hand. This truth is even further amplified in the outdoors where you’ll have no control over the weather conditions, the wind, and your general surroundings. To avoid botching the perfect shot because of even the slightest hand motion, working with a tripod for landscape photos is generally your best bet....
